Ingredients

  • 2 pounds beef stew meat
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 cup mushrooms, sliced
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Egg noodles, for serving


Instructions

  1. In a slow cooker, combine the beef stew meat, chopped onion, minced garlic, beef broth, Worcestershire sauce, paprika, and sliced mushrooms.
  2. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  3. Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or until the beef is tender.
  4. Stir in the sour cream just before serving.
  5. Serve over cooked egg noodles.

Notes

  • For a thicker sauce, you can add a cornstarch slurry before serving.
