- 5 chicken thighs, skin on, bone-in
- 2 tablespoons garlic, minced
- 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
- 1/4 teaspoon coarse ground black pepper
- 1/3 cup light brown sugar, packed
Instructions
- Add the chicken, salt, pepper, and garlic to the slow cooker. Optionally, brown the chicken skin-side down in a pan with about 1 tablespoon vegetable oil.
- Mix the ingredients and flip the chicken skin side up. Sprinkle the brown sugar over the top.
- Cook on low for 480 minutes (8 hours) or on high for 240 minutes (4 hours).
- Optionally, serve with fresh chopped parsley on top.
