Description
A delicious and easy recipe for creamy cheesy chicken penne made in a slow cooker.
Ingredients

- 1 pound boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 2 cups penne pasta
- 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of chicken soup
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 cup diced tomatoes
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Place the chicken breasts in the bottom of the slow cooker.
- Add the cream of chicken soup, chicken broth, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
- Stir to combine and cover the chicken with the sauce.
- Cook on low for 4-6 hours or until the chicken is cooked through.
- Remove the chicken and shred it with two forks.
- Add the penne pasta and diced tomatoes to the slow cooker.
- Stir in the shredded chicken and half of the cheddar cheese.
- Cover and cook on high for an additional 30 minutes or until the pasta is tender.
- Stir in the remaining cheddar cheese before serving.

Notes
- For a spicier version, add red pepper flakes.
- Can substitute chicken with turkey or a meat alternative.
- Leftovers can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
