- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter
- 6 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
- Place the chicken breasts in the slow cooker.
- In a small saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat.
- Add the minced garlic and Italian seasoning to the melted butter, stirring until fragrant.
- Pour the garlic butter mixture over the chicken in the slow cooker.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Cover and cook on low for 6-7 hours or on high for 3-4 hours, until the chicken is cooked through and tender.
- Once cooked, shred the chicken with two forks and mix it with the sauce.
- Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
