A flavorful and easy recipe for Hawaiian BBQ pulled beef made in a slow cooker.

- 3-4 lbs beef chuck roast
- 1 cup Hawaiian BBQ sauce
- 1/2 cup beef broth
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon minced garlic
- 1 tablespoon minced ginger
- 1 tablespoon brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 cup chopped green onions (for garnish)
Instructions
- Place the beef chuck roast in the slow cooker.
- In a bowl, mix together the BBQ sauce, beef broth, soy sauce, garlic, ginger, brown sugar, black pepper, and salt.
- Pour the sauce mixture over the beef in the slow cooker.
- Cover and cook on low for 8 hours or high for 4 hours, until the beef is tender.
- Once cooked, shred the beef with two forks and mix it with the sauce.
- Serve the pulled beef on buns or over rice, garnished with chopped green onions.
Notes
- For a spicier kick, add some red pepper flakes to the sauce.
- This recipe can be doubled for larger gatherings.
- Leftovers can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
