A simple and tasty recipe for making pineapple barbecue meatballs in a slow cooker.

- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/2 cup finely chopped onion
- 1/4 cup milk
- 1 egg
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 cup barbecue sauce
- 1 cup crushed pineapple, drained
Instructions
- In a large bowl, combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, onion, milk, egg, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined.
- Form the mixture into meatballs, about 1 inch in diameter.
- Place the meatballs in the slow cooker.
- In a separate bowl, mix together the barbecue sauce and crushed pineapple.
- Pour the barbecue sauce mixture over the meatballs in the slow cooker.
- Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or on high for 3-4 hours.
- Serve warm and enjoy!
Notes
- For a spicier kick, add some chili powder to the meatball mixture.
- These meatballs can be served as an appetizer or over rice as a main dish.
