Smashburger Quesadillas Recipe

Description

Delicious quesadillas inspired by the classic Smashburger, filled with juicy beef and melted cheese.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 4 large flour tortillas
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup diced onions
  • 1 cup diced tomatoes
  • 1/2 cup sliced jalapeños
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat.
  2. Add diced onions and sauté until translucent.
  3. Add ground beef, season with salt and pepper, and cook until browned.
  4. Remove the beef mixture from the skillet and set aside.
  5. In the same skillet, place one tortilla and sprinkle half of the cheese on one half of the tortilla.
  6. Add a portion of the beef mixture, diced tomatoes, and jalapeños on top of the cheese.
  7. Fold the tortilla over and cook until golden brown on both sides.
  8. Repeat with remaining tortillas and filling.
  9. Slice into wedges and serve hot.
