- 4 cups mashed sweet potatoes
- 1/2 cup maple syrup
- 1/4 cup butter, melted
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
- 1/2 cup chopped pecans
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large bowl, combine the mashed sweet potatoes, maple syrup, melted butter, brown sugar, vanilla extract, cinnamon, and nutmeg.
- Mix until well combined and smooth.
- Transfer the mixture to a greased baking dish.
- Sprinkle the chopped pecans on top.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes or until heated through and the top is slightly golden.
Notes
- For a richer flavor, use dark maple syrup.
- Can be prepared a day in advance and baked before serving.
