  • 1 tablespoon curry powder
  • 1 teaspoon turmeric powder
  • 1 teaspoon red chili powder
  • Salt to taste
  • Fresh coriander leaves for garnish

Instructions

  1. Heat oil in a large pan over medium heat.
  2. Add the chopped onions and sauté until golden brown.
  3. Stir in the minced garlic, grated ginger, and green chilies; cook for 2 minutes.
  4. Add the chopped tomatoes and cook until they soften.
  5. Mix in the curry powder, turmeric powder, red chili powder, and salt; cook for another minute.
  6. Add the chicken pieces and stir well to coat them with the spices.
  7. Cover and cook on low heat for 25-30 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  8. Once the chicken is cooked through, garnish with fresh coriander leaves.
  9. Serve hot with rice or naan.
