Ingredients
Scale
- 12 mozzarella sticks
- 1 cup spinach (fresh or frozen)
- 1/2 cup cream cheese
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 cup bread crumbs

Instructions
- Thaw and drain the spinach thoroughly if using frozen spinach. In a bowl, mix together the spinach, cream cheese, sour cream, Parmesan, and shredded mozzarella. Season with garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
- Dip each mozzarella stick into the spinach mixture, coating it well.
- Roll the coated mozzarella sticks in breadcrumbs until fully covered.
- Heat oil in a frying pan over medium heat. Once hot, fry the sticks in batches until golden brown, about 2-3 minutes each side.
- Remove and place on paper towels to drain excess oil.
- Serve warm with your favorite dipping sauce.
Notes
For a healthier version, bake at 400°F for about 15-20 minutes instead of frying.
