- 6 large eggs
- 1/4 cup mayonnaise
- 1 teaspoon mustard
- Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions
- Hard boil the eggs by placing them in a pot of cold water, bringing it to a boil, then covering and letting them sit for 12 minutes.
- Cool the eggs in ice water, then peel them carefully.
- Slice the eggs in half lengthwise and remove the yolks.
- In a bowl, mash the yolks with mayonnaise, mustard, salt, and pepper until smooth.
- If desired, add a few drops of red food coloring to the yolk mixture for a spooky effect.
- Fill the egg whites with the yolk mixture.
- Slice black olives into small pieces to create spider shapes and place them on top of the filled eggs for decoration.
- Chill the deviled eggs in the refrigerator until ready to serve.
