Description

A fun and festive recipe for your Halloween party, these spooky deviled eggs are sure to impress your guests!


Ingredients

  • 6 large eggs
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 teaspoon mustard
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Black olives (for decoration)
  • Red food coloring (optional)

Instructions

  1. Hard boil the eggs by placing them in a pot of cold water, bringing it to a boil, then covering and letting them sit for 12 minutes.
  2. Cool the eggs in ice water, then peel them carefully.
  3. Slice the eggs in half lengthwise and remove the yolks.
  4. In a bowl, mash the yolks with mayonnaise, mustard, salt, and pepper until smooth.
  5. If desired, add a few drops of red food coloring to the yolk mixture for a spooky effect.
  6. Fill the egg whites with the yolk mixture.
  7. Slice black olives into small pieces to create spider shapes and place them on top of the filled eggs for decoration.
  8. Chill the deviled eggs in the refrigerator until ready to serve.
