A delicious and hearty steak stromboli perfect for spring dinners.
Ingredients

- 1 lb flank steak, thinly sliced
- 1 cup bell peppers, sliced
- 1 cup onions, sliced
- 2 cups mozzarella cheese, shredded
- 1 package pizza dough
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
- In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat and sauté the onions and bell peppers until soft.
- Add the sliced flank steak to the skillet and cook until browned. Season with garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
- Roll out the pizza dough on a floured surface into a rectangle.
- Spread the steak mixture evenly over the dough, leaving a border around the edges.
- Sprinkle mozzarella cheese on top of the steak mixture.
- Roll the dough tightly from one end to the other and pinch the edges to seal.
- Place the stromboli seam-side down on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Brush the top with olive oil and make a few slits on top for steam to escape.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown.
- Let it cool for a few minutes before slicing and serving.

- Feel free to add other vegetables like mushrooms or spinach.
