- 1 lb chicken breast, cut into cubes
- 1/2 cup bourbon
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon ginger, grated
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- Skewers (wooden or metal)
Instructions
- In a bowl, combine bourbon, soy sauce, brown sugar, garlic, ginger, olive oil, and black pepper to create the marinade.
- Add the chicken cubes to the marinade and let it sit for at least 30 minutes, or overnight for best results.
- Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.
- Thread the marinated chicken onto skewers.
- Grill the skewers for about 10-15 minutes, turning occasionally, until the chicken is cooked through and has a nice char.
- Brush with extra marinade during grilling for added flavor.
- Remove from the grill and let rest for a few minutes before serving.
Notes
- Soak wooden skewers in water for at least 30 minutes before grilling to prevent burning.
