- 2 cups strawberries, sliced
- 2 cups apples, peeled and sliced
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1 pre-made pie crust
- 1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a large bowl, combine the sliced strawberries and apples.
- Add sugar, lemon juice, and cinnamon to the fruit mixture and toss to coat.
- Place the pie crust in a pie dish and fill it with the fruit mixture.
- Cover the pie with another layer of pie crust or create a lattice top.
- Brush the top with the beaten egg.
- Bake for 45-50 minutes or until the crust is golden brown.
- Let it cool before serving.
Notes
- Serve with whipped cream or vanilla ice cream for added flavor.
- Can be made a day in advance and stored in the refrigerator.
