Description

A delightful and moist banana bread infused with fresh strawberries, perfect for spring desserts.


Ingredients

  • 2 ripe bananas, mashed
  • 1 cup fresh strawberries, chopped
  • 1/3 cup melted butter
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 large egg, beaten
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour


Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×5 inch loaf pan.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the mashed bananas and melted butter.
  3. Add the baking soda and salt, and mix well.
  4. Stir in the sugar, beaten egg, and vanilla extract until combined.
  5. Gradually add the flour, mixing until just incorporated.
  6. Fold in the chopped strawberries gently.
  7. Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan.
  8. Bake for 60-65 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  9. Let the bread cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.

  • For a sweeter bread, you can add more sugar.
