A healthy snack recipe that satisfies sweet cravings with the delicious flavor of strawberry cheesecake.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup rolled oats
  • 1/2 cup almond butter
  • 1/4 cup honey or maple syrup
  • 1/2 cup protein powder (vanilla or strawberry flavor)
  • 1/2 cup crushed freeze-dried strawberries
  • 1/4 cup cream cheese (softened)
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine rolled oats, almond butter, honey or maple syrup, and protein powder.
  2. Add crushed freeze-dried strawberries, softened cream cheese, and vanilla extract to the mixture.
  3. Mix all ingredients until well combined.
  4. Refrigerate the mixture for about 30 minutes to make it easier to handle.
  5. Once chilled, roll the mixture into small balls, about 1 inch in diameter.
  6. Store the protein balls in an airtight container in the refrigerator.

Notes

  • Feel free to substitute almond butter with peanut butter if desired.
  • These protein balls can be frozen for longer storage.
  • Adjust sweetness by adding more or less honey/maple syrup.
