A delicious breakfast treat that combines the flavors of strawberry cheesecake with fluffy waffles.
Ingredients

- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- 1 tablespoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 2 large eggs
- 1 3/4 cups milk
- 1/2 cup melted butter
- 1 cup cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar
- 1 cup fresh strawberries, chopped
Instructions
- In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
- In another bowl, beat the eggs and then mix in the milk and melted butter.
- Combine the wet ingredients with the dry ingredients until just mixed.
- In a separate bowl, mix the softened cream cheese and powdered sugar until smooth.
- Preheat the waffle iron and pour a scoop of waffle batter onto the iron.
- Add a spoonful of the cream cheese mixture and some chopped strawberries on top of the batter.
- Cover with more waffle batter and close the waffle iron. Cook until golden brown.
- Repeat with the remaining batter and filling.
- Serve warm with additional strawberries and syrup if desired.
Notes
- Make sure the cream cheese is softened for easy mixing.
- Feel free to add more strawberries or other fruits as desired.
- These waffles can be frozen and reheated for a quick breakfast option.
