Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Roll out the puff pastry on a floured surface and cut into heart shapes.
- In a bowl, mix the softened cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth.
- Place a spoonful of the cream cheese mixture in the center of each heart shape.
- Add a few slices of strawberries on top of the cream cheese.
- Fold the edges of the pastry over the filling to create a heart shape.
- Brush the tops with the beaten egg for a golden finish.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown.
- Let cool slightly before serving.
