Description

Irresistibly velvety and deliciously sweet treats made with fresh strawberries and creamy chocolate.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup fresh strawberries, hulled
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 8 oz dark chocolate, chopped
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract


Instructions

  1. In a blender, puree the hulled strawberries until smooth.
  2. In a mixing bowl, whip the heavy cream until soft peaks form.
  3. Gradually add the powdered sugar and vanilla extract to the whipped cream, mixing until well combined.
  4. Fold the strawberry puree into the whipped cream gently until fully incorporated.
  5. In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the dark chocolate in 30-second intervals, stirring in between until smooth.
  6. Using a spoon, dip each strawberry into the melted chocolate, allowing excess to drip off.
  7. Place the chocolate-covered strawberries on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
  8. Using a piping bag, fill each chocolate-covered strawberry with the strawberry cream mixture.
  9. Chill in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes before serving.

Notes

  • For a richer flavor, use semi-sweet chocolate instead of dark chocolate.
  • These chocolates can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
  • Feel free to add a pinch of salt to enhance the chocolate flavor.
