Ingredients

  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract (for frosting)


Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, cream together the softened butter and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
  3. Add the egg and mix until well combined.
  4. In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, matcha powder, baking powder, and salt.
  5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, mixing until just combined.
  6. Fold in the pureed strawberries gently.
  7. Drop spoonfuls of the cookie dough onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  8. Bake for 10-12 minutes or until the edges are lightly golden.
  9. Let the cookies cool completely on a wire rack.
  10. For the frosting, mix the powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla extract until smooth.
  11. Spread the frosting on top of the cooled cookies and enjoy!
