A light and creamy dessert made with fresh strawberries and mascarpone cheese.
Ingredients

- 2 cups fresh strawberries, hulled and sliced
- 1 cup mascarpone cheese
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions
- In a bowl, combine the sliced strawberries with 2 tablespoons of powdered sugar and let them sit for 10 minutes.
- In another bowl, whisk the mascarpone cheese, remaining powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth.
- In a separate bowl, whip the heavy cream until stiff peaks form.
- Gently fold the whipped cream into the mascarpone mixture until well combined.
- Layer the strawberry mixture and mascarpone mousse in serving glasses.
- Chill in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours before serving.

Notes
- For a sweeter mousse, adjust the amount of powdered sugar to taste.
- Can be topped with additional strawberries or mint leaves for garnish.
