Ingredients

- 2 cups rolled oats
- 1 cup whole wheat flour
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1/4 cup honey
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 2 cups fresh strawberries, chopped
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large bowl, mix together the rolled oats, whole wheat flour, brown sugar, and salt.
- Add the melted butter, honey, and vanilla extract to the dry ingredients and mix until combined.
- Press half of the mixture into the bottom of a greased 9×9 inch baking pan.
- Spread the chopped strawberries evenly over the crust.
- Sprinkle the remaining oat mixture on top of the strawberries.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes or until the top is golden brown.
- Allow to cool before cutting into bars.
Notes
- Store bars in an airtight container for up to a week.
- Can substitute strawberries with other fruits like blueberries or raspberries.
