Description

A delightful and sweet snack mix that combines the flavors of strawberry shortcake in a fun and easy-to-make puppy chow recipe.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 6 cups Rice Chex cereal
  • 1 cup white chocolate chips
  • 1/2 cup creamy peanut butter
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 cup freeze-dried strawberries
  • 1/4 cup sprinkles (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, measure out the Rice Chex cereal and set aside.
  2. In a microwave-safe bowl, combine the white chocolate chips and peanut butter. Microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring in between, until melted and smooth.
  3. Pour the melted mixture over the Rice Chex cereal and gently stir to coat the cereal evenly.
  4. In a separate bag or bowl, combine the powdered sugar and freeze-dried strawberries. Add the coated cereal to the bag and shake until well coated.
  5. If desired, add sprinkles and mix gently.
  6. Spread the puppy chow on a baking sheet to cool before serving.
