Description

A deliciously sweet and nutty bread perfect for any occasion.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup buttermilk
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup chopped pecans


Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, mix together the flour, sugar, baking soda, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, whisk together the buttermilk, vegetable oil, eggs, and vanilla extract.
  4. Combine the wet and dry ingredients, stirring until just mixed.
  5. Fold in the chopped pecans.
  6. Pour the batter into a greased bread pan.
  7. Bake for 50-60 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
  8. Let the bread cool in the pan for 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
