Description

Ingredients

  • 2 pounds Swiss steak
  • 1 cup onion, sliced
  • 1 cup bell pepper, sliced
  • 2 cups beef broth
  • 1 can (14.5 ounces) diced tomatoes
  • 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
  2. Season the Swiss steak with salt and pepper, then brown it in the skillet on both sides.
  3. Add the sliced onions and bell peppers to the skillet and sauté until they are soft.
  4. Pour in the beef broth and diced tomatoes, then add Worcestershire sauce.
  5. Cover and simmer for about 1.5 to 2 hours, or until the steak is tender.
