  • 1 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice
  • 1/2 cup chopped pecans

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, cream together the butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
  3. Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
  4. Stir in the vanilla extract.
  5. In another bowl, combine the flour, baking powder, salt, and pumpkin pie spice.
  6. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, alternating with the pumpkin puree.
  7. Fold in the chopped pecans.
  8. Pour the batter into a greased cake pan.
  9. Bake for 30-35 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
