  • 2 cups of stuffing
  • 1/2 cup of butter, melted
  • 2 cups of chicken broth
  • 1 tablespoon of salt
  • 1 teaspoon of black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon of dried thyme
  • 1 tablespoon of rosemary
  • 1 cup of cranberry sauce
  • Fresh herbs for garnish


Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 325°F (165°C).
  2. Prepare the turkey by removing the giblets and patting it dry with paper towels.
  3. In a bowl, mix the stuffing with melted butter and chicken broth until moist.
  4. Stuff the turkey with the prepared stuffing and secure the opening with kitchen twine.
  5. Rub the turkey with salt, pepper, thyme, and rosemary.
  6. Place the turkey in a roasting pan and cover it with aluminum foil.
  7. Roast the turkey for about 3 hours, basting it every 30 minutes with its own juices.
  8. Remove the foil in the last hour of cooking to allow the skin to brown.
  9. Check the internal temperature; it should reach 165°F (75°C) in the thickest part of the thigh.
  10. Let the turkey rest for 20 minutes before carving. Serve with cranberry sauce and garnish with fresh herbs.
