Ingredients

- 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded
- 2 cups cooked pork, shredded
- 1 cup beef broth
- 1 can (15 oz) diced tomatoes
- 1 cup corn, frozen or fresh
- 1 cup lima beans, frozen or fresh
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 teaspoon hot sauce (optional)
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- In a large pot, sauté the chopped onion and minced garlic until translucent.
- Add the shredded chicken and pork to the pot.
- Pour in the beef broth and diced tomatoes, stirring to combine.
- Add the corn and lima beans, and mix well.
- Stir in the Worcestershire sauce and hot sauce, if using.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Bring the stew to a boil, then reduce heat and let simmer for about 30 minutes.
- Serve hot, garnished with fresh herbs if desired.
Notes
- This stew can be made ahead of time and tastes even better the next day.
- Feel free to substitute or add other vegetables based on your preference.
- For a thicker stew, let it simmer longer or add a cornstarch slurry.
