- 1/2 cup butter (for whiskey sauce)
- 1 cup powdered sugar (for whiskey sauce)
- 1/4 cup whiskey (for whiskey sauce)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a baking dish.
- Combine the cubed bread, milk, and cream in a large bowl. Let it sit for about 10 minutes to soak.
- Whisk together the eggs, sugar, vanilla, and cinnamon in another bowl, and then add it to the bread mixture. Fold in the raisins.
- Pour the mixture into the prepared baking dish and bake for 30-40 minutes, or until set and golden.
- Melt the butter in a saucepan over low heat, then whisk in the powdered sugar and whiskey until smooth to make the whiskey sauce.
- Serve the bread pudding warm with the whiskey sauce drizzled on top.
