Description

Deliciously rich and fudgy brownies layered with mint and Oreo flavors.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup unsalted butter
  • 2 cups granulated sugar
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup mint chocolate chips
  • 1 package Oreo cookies
  • 1 cup cream cheese
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1/4 cup milk


Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13 inch baking pan.
  2. In a large bowl, melt the butter and mix in the granulated sugar until well combined.
  3. Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition, then stir in the vanilla extract.
  4. In another bowl, whisk together the flour, cocoa powder, and salt.
  5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
  6. Fold in the mint chocolate chips and half of the crushed Oreo cookies.
  7. Pour half of the brownie batter into the prepared pan and spread evenly.
  8. In a separate bowl, beat the cream cheese, powdered sugar, and milk until smooth. Spread this mixture over the brownie layer.
  9. Top with the remaining brownie batter and sprinkle the rest of the crushed Oreo cookies on top.
  10. Bake for 30-35 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out with a few moist crumbs.
  11. Allow to cool before cutting into squares and serving.

Notes

  • For a stronger mint flavor, add a few drops of peppermint extract to the cream cheese layer.
  • Store leftovers in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 3 days.
