- 1 cup creamy peanut butter
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 cup brown sugar, packed
- 2 large eggs
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 36 chocolate kisses, unwrapped
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large bowl, mix together the peanut butter, granulated sugar, brown sugar, eggs, and vanilla extract until smooth.
- In another bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the peanut butter mixture, stirring until well combined.
- Roll the dough into 1-inch balls and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the edges are lightly golden.
- Remove from the oven and immediately press a chocolate kiss into the center of each cookie.
- Allow to cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
