Description

Delicious and festive cookie cups perfect for Valentine’s Day celebrations.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • Hershey’s hugs or kisses for topping


Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, cream together the softened butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
  3. Add the egg and vanilla extract, mixing until well combined.
  4. In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt.
  5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until a dough forms.
  6. Roll the dough into small balls and place them in a greased muffin tin.
  7. Press the dough balls down to form cups.
  8. Bake for 10-12 minutes or until the edges are lightly golden.
  9. Remove from the oven and immediately press a Hershey’s hug or kiss into the center of each cookie cup.
  10. Allow to cool before removing from the muffin tin.
