Ingredients

- 4 cups of sliced apples
- 1 cup of rolled oats
- 1/2 cup of brown sugar
- 1/2 cup of flour
- 1/2 cup of coconut oil or vegan butter
- 1 teaspoon of cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon of nutmeg
- 1/4 teaspoon of salt
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large bowl, combine the sliced apples with cinnamon and nutmeg.
- In another bowl, mix the rolled oats, flour, brown sugar, and salt.
- Add the melted coconut oil or vegan butter to the oat mixture and stir until crumbly.
- Spread the apple mixture in a baking dish and top with the oat mixture.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes or until the top is golden brown and the apples are tender.
- Let it cool slightly before serving.
Notes
- Serve warm with vegan ice cream for an extra treat.
- Feel free to add nuts or raisins for added texture.
