Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup coconut oil, melted
  • 1/4 cup maple syrup
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup fruit jam (your choice)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the flour, melted coconut oil, maple syrup, vanilla extract, and salt. Mix until a dough forms.
  3. Roll out the dough on a floured surface to about 1/8 inch thick.
  4. Cut the dough into squares, approximately 4×4 inches.
  5. Place a teaspoon of fruit jam in the center of each square.
  6. Fold the corners of the square towards the center to create a love letter shape.
  7. Place the pastries on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  8. Bake for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown.
  9. Let cool before serving.
