Description

A delightful vegan stuffing recipe that is easy to make and perfect for any gathering.


Ingredients

  • 1 loaf of bread, cubed
  • 1 onion, diced
  • 2 celery stalks, diced
  • 2 carrots, diced
  • 3 cloves of garlic, minced
  • 1 cup vegetable broth
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 1 teaspoon dried sage
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat.
  3. Add the onion, celery, carrots, and garlic, and sauté until softened.
  4. In a large bowl, combine the cubed bread, sautéed vegetables, thyme, sage, salt, and pepper.
  5. Pour in the vegetable broth and mix until the bread is evenly moistened.
  6. Transfer the mixture to a baking dish and cover with foil.
  7. Bake for 30 minutes, then remove the foil and bake for an additional 15 minutes until golden brown.

Notes

  • Feel free to add nuts or dried fruits for extra flavor.
  • This stuffing can be made a day in advance and reheated before serving.
