Ingredients

  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tsp cumin
  • 1 tsp chili powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 cups beef broth
  • 8 corn tortillas
  • Oil for frying
  • 1 avocado
  • 1 lime, juiced
  • Salt to taste
  • Fresh cilantro for garnish

Instructions

  1. In a slow cooker, combine beef, onion, garlic, cumin, chili powder, salt, pepper, and beef broth.
  2. Cook on low for 8 hours or until beef is tender.
  3. Shred the beef with two forks and set aside.
  4. Heat oil in a skillet over medium heat.
  5. Fry the corn tortillas until crispy, about 1-2 minutes per side.
  6. Assemble tacos by adding shredded beef to each tortilla.
  7. In a bowl, mash avocado with lime juice and salt to make guacamole.
  8. Top tacos with guacamole and garnish with cilantro.
