Description
Deliciously crispy mini blooming onions made in the air fryer, perfect for snacks or party appetizers.
Ingredients

- 10 mini onions
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 cup buttermilk
- 1 cup breadcrumbs
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Cooking spray
Instructions
- Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
- Peel the mini onions and cut the tops off, making a small cross at the bottom of each onion.
- In a bowl, mix flour, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
- Dip each onion in the flour mixture, then in buttermilk, and finally coat with breadcrumbs.
- Spray the onions with cooking spray and place them in the air fryer basket.
- Air fry for 10-12 minutes or until golden brown and crispy.
- Serve hot with your favorite dipping sauce.
