Apple Cinnamon Breakfast Quesadillas

Description

Delicious and easy-to-make breakfast quesadillas filled with apple and cinnamon.


Ingredients

  • 2 large flour tortillas
  • 1 large apple, peeled and diced
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or mozzarella)
  • Butter or cooking spray for frying

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix the diced apple, ground cinnamon, and brown sugar until well combined.
  2. Heat a skillet over medium heat and add a little butter or cooking spray.
  3. Place one tortilla in the skillet and sprinkle half of the cheese on one half of the tortilla.
  4. Add the apple mixture on top of the cheese, then sprinkle the remaining cheese over the apples.
  5. Fold the tortilla in half and cook until golden brown, about 2-3 minutes on each side.
  6. Repeat with the second tortilla.
  7. Slice into wedges and serve warm.

Notes

  • Feel free to add nuts or raisins for extra texture.
  • Serve with maple syrup or yogurt for dipping.
