- 4 salmon fillets (6 oz each)
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- ½ cup mayonnaise
- 2 tbsp sweet chili sauce
- 1 tbsp sriracha (adjust to taste)
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp smoked paprika
- Salt and black pepper to taste
- Optional garnishes: chopped green onions, sesame seeds, lime wedges
Instructions
- Pat the salmon fillets dry and season both sides with garlic powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper.
- Heat olive oil in a cast iron skillet over medium-high heat until hot.
- Cook salmon skin-side down for 5-7 minutes; flip and cook another 5-7 minutes until golden brown and cooked through (145°F internal temperature).
- Whisk together mayonnaise, sweet chili sauce, sriracha, and rice vinegar or lime juice in a mixing bowl until smooth.
- Plate the cooked salmon, drizzle with bang bang sauce, and garnish as desired.
Notes
Choose fresh salmon for the best taste and ensure not to overcrowd the pan for even cooking.
