- 1 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
Instructions
- Combine fresh blueberries, sugar, butter, lemon juice, cinnamon, and salt in a slow cooker.
- Stir the mixture to combine then cover with the lid.
- Cook on low for 360-480 minutes, adding more sugar if desired for sweetness.
- Use a hand blender to puree until smooth once it’s cooked and thickened.
- Let it cool and then store in jars. Enjoy on toast or as a topping for desserts.
