- 2 cups Brussels sprouts
- 1 cup Gruyere cheese, shredded
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon pepper
- 1 cup breadcrumbs
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Thinly slice the Brussels sprouts.
- In a skillet, melt butter and sauté garlic until fragrant.
- Add the Brussels sprouts and cook until slightly tender.
- Stir in heavy cream, salt, and pepper.
- Transfer the mixture to a baking dish and sprinkle with Gruyere cheese.
- Top with breadcrumbs.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes until golden and bubbly.
Notes
Allow the gratin to rest for about 5 minutes after baking to let the flavors meld beautifully.
