Description

A creamy and cheesy Brussels sprouts dish baked to perfection, topped with crispy breadcrumbs.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups Brussels sprouts
  • 1 cup Gruyere cheese, shredded
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs


Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Thinly slice the Brussels sprouts.
  3. In a skillet, melt butter and sauté garlic until fragrant.
  4. Add the Brussels sprouts and cook until slightly tender.
  5. Stir in heavy cream, salt, and pepper.
  6. Transfer the mixture to a baking dish and sprinkle with Gruyere cheese.
  7. Top with breadcrumbs.
  8. Bake for 25-30 minutes until golden and bubbly.

Notes

Allow the gratin to rest for about 5 minutes after baking to let the flavors meld beautifully.
