A delicious twist on classic favorites combining the flavors of a cheeseburger and grilled cheese sandwich.
Ingredients

- 2 slices of bread
- 1 tablespoon butter
- 1 beef patty
- 2 slices of cheddar cheese
- 1 tablespoon ketchup
- 1 tablespoon mustard
- Pickles (optional)
Instructions
- Heat a skillet over medium heat.
- Butter one side of each slice of bread.
- Place one slice of bread, buttered side down, in the skillet.
- Cook the beef patty in the skillet until browned and cooked through.
- Place the cheddar cheese on top of the beef patty.
- Top with the second slice of bread, buttered side up.
- Flip the sandwich carefully and cook until golden brown and the cheese is melted.
- Remove from skillet, add ketchup, mustard, and pickles if desired, then slice and serve.
Notes
- For a vegetarian option, substitute the beef patty with a veggie patty.
- Experiment with different types of cheese for varied flavors.
