Description

Ingredients

  • 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded
  • 1 cup cheese (such as cheddar or Monterey Jack), grated
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp cumin
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 10-12 corn tortillas
  • Oil for frying


Instructions

  1. Combine shredded chicken, cheese, sour cream, garlic powder, cumin, salt, and pepper in a bowl. Mix well.
  2. Warm the tortillas in a skillet until pliable.
  3. Place a spoonful of filling on each tortilla and roll them tightly.
  4. Heat oil in a frying pan over medium heat.
  5. Fry the flautas until golden brown and crispy, about 3-4 minutes on each side.
  6. Remove and drain on paper towels. Serve with your choice of salsa or guacamole.

Notes

Avoid overfilling the tortillas and always warm them before rolling to prevent tearing.
