- 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded
- 1 cup cheese (such as cheddar or Monterey Jack), grated
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp cumin
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 10-12 corn tortillas
- Oil for frying
Instructions
- Combine shredded chicken, cheese, sour cream, garlic powder, cumin, salt, and pepper in a bowl. Mix well.
- Warm the tortillas in a skillet until pliable.
- Place a spoonful of filling on each tortilla and roll them tightly.
- Heat oil in a frying pan over medium heat.
- Fry the flautas until golden brown and crispy, about 3-4 minutes on each side.
- Remove and drain on paper towels. Serve with your choice of salsa or guacamole.
Notes
Avoid overfilling the tortillas and always warm them before rolling to prevent tearing.
