Description

A vibrant Italian dish featuring juicy grilled chicken breasts topped with fresh tomatoes, mozzarella, and basil.


Ingredients

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 2 large tomatoes, sliced
  • 1 cup fresh mozzarella cheese, sliced
  • 1 cup fresh basil leaves
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Balsamic glaze for drizzling (optional)


Instructions

  1. Preheat your grill to medium-high heat.
  2. Brush the chicken breasts with olive oil and season with salt and pepper.
  3. Grill the chicken for about 6-7 minutes on each side, or until fully cooked.
  4. During the last few minutes of grilling, top each chicken breast with slices of tomato and mozzarella. Close the grill lid to melt the cheese.
  5. Remove from grill, and top with fresh basil leaves.
  6. Drizzle with balsamic glaze if desired, and serve hot.

Notes

For enhanced flavor, marinate the chicken in olive oil, garlic, and herbs. Use the freshest ingredients possible.
