Description

A delightful twist on the classic Chicken Parmesan, perfect for a spring dinner.


Ingredients

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 cups marinara sauce
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/4 cup fresh basil, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Olive oil for drizzling

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
  3. Coat each chicken breast in the breadcrumb mixture.
  4. Place the coated chicken breasts on a baking sheet and drizzle with olive oil.
  5. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until the chicken is cooked through.
  6. Remove from the oven and top each breast with marinara sauce and mozzarella cheese.
  7. Return to the oven and bake for an additional 10 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and golden.
  8. Garnish with fresh basil before serving.
