Description

A flavor-packed snack that combines spicy chili powder, sweet brown sugar, and tangy lime to create a zesty and crunchy treat.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups salted whole cashews
  • 1 tsp chili powder
  • 1 tbsp brown sugar
  • 2 tbsp freshly squeezed lime juice
  • Salt (to taste)


Instructions

  1. Preheat air fryer to 300℉ and set the air frying time to 5 minutes.
  2. Add cashews, chili powder, and brown sugar to a medium bowl; mix well.
  3. Pour in the lime juice; mix thoroughly until all nuts are coated.
  4. Arrange nuts in a single layer in the air fryer.
  5. Halfway through the cooking time (2.5 minutes), gently shake the basket.
  6. Remove the basket from the air fryer when air frying is finished.
  7. Sprinkle the warm nuts with salt to taste; stir.
  8. Let nuts rest in the basket for 1 minute.
  9. Arrange nuts on a clean workspace or cutting board; make sure they aren’t overlapping.
  10. Allow to cool for 10 minutes before serving.

Notes

For a sugar-free option, consider using stevia or monk fruit instead of brown sugar. Store in an airtight container for up to one week.
