Description

Delightful Chocolate Dipped Pretzel Rods blend sweet and salty flavors, perfect for any occasion.


Ingredients

  • 12 pretzel rods
  • 1 bag bright white candy melts (12 oz)
  • 1 cup royal blue candy melts
  • 1 cup red candy melts
  • Star shaped sprinkles or patriotic mix sprinkles


Instructions

  1. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper, wax paper, or foil.
  2. Begin by melting the bright white candy melts in a microwave-safe bowl according to package directions.
  3. Pour the melted candy melts into a tall and slender cup or glass jar.
  4. Dip 3/4 of the pretzel rod into the melted white candy.
  5. Allow the excess to drip off and place the pretzel rod on the parchment-lined baking sheet.
  6. Repeat with the remaining pretzel rods.
  7. Let the rods dry at room temperature for about 15 minutes.
  8. Melt the blue candy melts according to package directions.
  9. Pour the melted blue candy into a tall and slender cup or glass jar.
  10. Dip the top 1/3 of the white candy-coated pretzel rod into the melted blue candy.
  11. Allow the excess to drip off.
  12. Place the rod onto the parchment paper and immediately press a few star-shaped sprinkles into the blue candy.
  13. Repeat with the remaining rods and allow them to dry completely for about 15 minutes.
  14. Melt the red candy melts according to the package directions.
  15. Pour the melted red candy into a Ziploc bag or a piping bag with a small tip.
  16. Drizzle red lines over the white area of the pretzel rod.
  17. Allow the pretzel rods to finish drying completely at room temperature before serving.
