- 12 pretzel rods
- 1 bag bright white candy melts (12 oz)
- 1 cup royal blue candy melts
- 1 cup red candy melts
- Star shaped sprinkles or patriotic mix sprinkles
Instructions
- Line a baking sheet with parchment paper, wax paper, or foil.
- Begin by melting the bright white candy melts in a microwave-safe bowl according to package directions.
- Pour the melted candy melts into a tall and slender cup or glass jar.
- Dip 3/4 of the pretzel rod into the melted white candy.
- Allow the excess to drip off and place the pretzel rod on the parchment-lined baking sheet.
- Repeat with the remaining pretzel rods.
- Let the rods dry at room temperature for about 15 minutes.
- Melt the blue candy melts according to package directions.
- Pour the melted blue candy into a tall and slender cup or glass jar.
- Dip the top 1/3 of the white candy-coated pretzel rod into the melted blue candy.
- Allow the excess to drip off.
- Place the rod onto the parchment paper and immediately press a few star-shaped sprinkles into the blue candy.
- Repeat with the remaining rods and allow them to dry completely for about 15 minutes.
- Melt the red candy melts according to the package directions.
- Pour the melted red candy into a Ziploc bag or a piping bag with a small tip.
- Drizzle red lines over the white area of the pretzel rod.
- Allow the pretzel rods to finish drying completely at room temperature before serving.
