- 1/3 cup coconut oil (melted)
- 1/4 cup maple syrup (or honey)
- 3/4 cup dark chocolate chips (or milk chocolate for a sweeter option)
- 1/4 cup almond milk (or any milk of choice)
- 1/4 cup chopped nuts (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line an 8×8 inch baking dish with parchment paper for easy removal.
- Combine the rolled oats, almond flour, coconut sugar, and salt in a large mixing bowl, mixing well to combine.
- Mix the melted coconut oil, maple syrup, almond milk, and chocolate chips in a separate bowl until combined.
- Pour the wet mixture into the dry ingredients and stir until the mixture is evenly combined.
- Press the mixture firmly into the prepared baking dish, spreading it out evenly.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until lightly golden.
- Melt additional chocolate chips in a small saucepan or microwave, then drizzle over the baked bars.
- Chill in the refrigerator for at least an hour before cutting into squares.
Notes
For sugar substitutes, consider using stevia, monk fruit, or allulose. Ensure to cool completely before cutting to avoid crumbling.
