Description

A rich and indulgent chocolate pecan pie that combines the smoothness of chocolate and the crunch of pecans, perfect for any celebration.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 unbaked pie crust
  • 1 cup corn syrup
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup chopped pecans
  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Place the unbaked pie crust in a 9-inch pie dish and crimp the edges.
  3. In a large bowl, combine the corn syrup, granulated sugar, and melted butter.
  4. Whisk in the eggs until the mixture is smooth.
  5. Stir in the vanilla extract and salt until well blended.
  6. Fold in the chopped pecans and chocolate chips, ensuring they are evenly distributed.
  7. Pour the filling into the prepared pie crust, spreading it evenly.
  8. Bake for 50–55 minutes, or until set. The pie should jiggle slightly in the center.
  9. Allow the pie to cool completely on a wire rack before serving.

Notes

If the crust edges brown too quickly, cover them with foil during baking. To enhance flavor, consider toasting the pecans before adding them.
