Description

A delightful breakfast casserole combining the flavors of apple and cinnamon with soft cinnamon rolls.


Ingredients

  • 2 cans of refrigerated cinnamon rolls
  • 2 cups of diced apples
  • 1 teaspoon of ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup of brown sugar
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 cup of milk
  • 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
  • 1/4 teaspoon of salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Grease a 9×13 inch baking dish.
  3. Cut the cinnamon rolls into quarters and place them in the baking dish.
  4. In a bowl, mix the diced apples, ground cinnamon, and brown sugar, then sprinkle over the cinnamon rolls.
  5. In another bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, vanilla extract, and salt.
  6. Pour the egg mixture over the cinnamon rolls and apples.
  7. Bake for 30-35 minutes or until golden brown and set.
  8. Allow to cool slightly before serving.
